Assistant Manager – Finance and Administration

Main Duties

  • Be responsible for financial planning and analysis role
  • Prepare annual budget / quarterly forecast and perform checking to tie up with supporting assumptions, budgets from business units and/or analysis of actual data
  • Assist and follow up finance related system development projects and/or process improvements
  • Support management on performance measurements / scorecards
  • Perform variance analysis (KPI) on financial accounts, review accounting records, analysis schedules and other financial reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of financial statements in accordance with HKFRS and Company Ordinance
  • Review monthly management accounts, accounting analysis as well as supports to monthly reports for shareholders
  • Ensure financial integrity in safeguarding financial assets of Company with all receipts and payments to comply with internal control procedures, authority limit and systems and policies  approved by management
  • Review / prepare tax accounts / schedules to comply with Inland Revenue Ordinance and IRD Internal Practice Notes for tax returns to be submitted to IRD
  • Prepare draft audit accounts and provide analysis schedules to support annual audit
  • Assist GM-F&A to oversee, supervise and coach teams of billing, payroll, payments, financial reporting and ad hoc projects to achieve on-time completion of accounting tasks / jobs assigned
  • Communicate with all levels of team members as well as other internal/external business partners
  • Review and streamline the process of works within department

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years proven commercial accounting and finance experience in supervisory position
  • Audit experience with CPA membership is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset, excellent in data analysis and Excel Modelling
  • Experience in Sun Accounting / Vision Systems is a merit
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of initiative and independence
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high level of completeness, accuracy and validity to meet tight timelines
  • Willingness to learn and continuous improvement for process and system development
  • Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of team members and cross functions with other departments
