CASL welcomed IET students Students from The Institution of Engineering and Technology Hong Kong visited CASL today. The young people had a tour at our base maintenance facility and enjoyed a demonstration of our virtual reality training system.

CASL staff striking at HKIA Cup Match 2019 Bowling Championship The HKIA Cup Match 2019 Bowling Championship organised by The Staffs & Workers Union of Hong Kong Civil Airlines was held on 28 July 2019 at the South China Athletic Association. Our CASL staff CHAN Siu Kei (Ground Services Equipment), NG Tung Chuen (Line Maintenance), TSE Po Keung (Line Maintenance) and VONG Chi Shun (Line Maintenance) participated in the “Super Category” and enjoyed a fun day striking out at the championship.

Visit by HKIAA Summer Camp Participants CASL is delighted to welcome back over 50 visitors who participated in the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA)'s 5-day summer camp on 26 July 2019. They all enjoyed learning more about the aircraft maintenance industry and prospective career path.

Visit by TWGHs Lui Yun Choy Memorial College Over 20 students from TWGHs Lui Yun Choy Memorial College visited CASL on 8 July 2019. The group enjoyed touring the hangar and learned more about relevant courses in the aircraft maintenance industry.

Memorandum of Understanding Signed between CASL and Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) The Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony between six significant aviation industry partners and Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) was held on 4 July 2019 at THEi Tsing Yi Campus. Dr. Angus Cheung, Chief Excecutive Officer of CASL, has joined hands with Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, Dah Chong Hong - Dragonair Airport GSE Service Limited, Dragon General Aviation Group Limited, Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) and Pan Asia Pacific Aviation Services Limited to sign the Memorandum of Understanding to offer Hong Kong’s first BEng (Hons) in Aircraft Engineering students at THEi aircraft maintenance practical training and valuable internship opportunities.
