Ramp Services Manager
Main Duties
-
- Be responsible for the activities related to ground service equipment, heavy equipment to include operational performance, costs of operation and maintenance, safety and compliance with established procedures and regulations
- Ensure the provision of timely, effective and quality services delivered to airlines / customers
- Oversee the resources planning which includes but not limited to reviewing periodic work schedule, manpower, equipment and work flow so as to optimize the operation efficiency at reasonable costs and obtain the optimum utilization of resources
- Maintain and enforce the safety requirements as specified by airlines / customers, regulatory authorities and the Company from time to time
- Provide professional advice on procurement of ground service equipment, materials, supplies and parts required to maintain equipment and facilities
- Ensure inspection, repair and maintenance services to obtain maximum utilization of equipment in accordance with agreed maintenance schedule and prevent operational delays
- Maintain proper repair and maintenance records
- Ensure the licensing of all vehicles operated are in compliance with legislative / authorities requirements
- Develop training materials for Operators, procedural manuals and conducts trainings for team members, secure the training records are properly maintained
- Take part in the investigation and evaluation on staff related issues including but not limited to staff injury, traffic / aircraft incidents, and enforce disciplinary actions if necessary
- Act as a contact point for external parties when dealing with operation related issues including but not limited to airlines / customers, regulatory authorities

- Degree holder or above in Mechancial / Engineering

- At least 10 years’ working experience in aviation industry and in which 4 years are in managerial level
- Exposure in managing ground service equipment within an aviation environment is a merit
- Possess technical qualification e.g. motor vehicle maintenance is of advantage
- Possess valid driving license class 1 and 2
- Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Proficient in MS Office applicatio
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, analytical mind with sound organisation and presentation skills
