Members of our Line Maintenance and Ramp Services teams received compliment from HK Express for their efforts to aviation safety!

On July 1, 2020, an unexpected deviation occurred when arranging an HK Express A321 aircraft to be parked at a parking bay for shorter A320s, which caused insufficient clearance between the A321 aircraft to the aircraft parked behind. Wing walker Leung together with tow truck driver Yin discovered that the aircraft APU exhaust cone was very close to the windshield of the aircraft behind and immediately stopped the towing to safeguard the aircraft from a costly ground collision, who were praised by the airline as encouragement.
