Minor Maintenance Manager

Main Duties

    • Plan and supervise the execution of all scheduled maintenance activities carried out on customer aircraft in a line maintenance environment (excluding overnight servicing)
    • Support transit Line maintenance AOG requirements for complex defects involving greater than 4-hour AOG events
    • Support transit Line maintenance operations during peak workload requirements
    • Liaise with the Planning department to ensure that the customer workload is planned in order and structured
    • Where work may be beyond the scope of the minor maintenance department, liaise with Planning/Base Maintenance about transferring to Base Maintenance
    • Attend and chair the Daily customer meeting(s) to set and agree on work to be performed in the next 24 hours
    • In conjunction with the planning department, review and provide feedback on the 7, 14 and 30-day maintenance forecast for each customer and the organisation to ensure the correct resources, skills, tooling, and materials are available for planned work
    • Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and professional working environment for all employees and visitors to all areas under CASL's control
    • Manage the maintenance teams performing the activities
    • Adhere to and promote the highest levels of safety, compliance and execution of work efficiently and cost-effectively to achieve customer satisfaction
    • Ensure all employees comply with CASL and clients' safe work procedures
    • Develop a professional working relationship with all company employees, client representatives and other business associates
    • Continuously evaluate the safety of all operating areas, including offices, stores, workshops and the operational regions – airside locations and aircraft; take proactive control and escalate any issues that are raised and cannot be rectified

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Engineering related discipline
  • Holder of a valid HKAR66 B1.1 or B2* license or other national aircraft maintenance license
  • At least 12 years’ experience in aircraft line maintenance, in which minimum 4 years in managerial level
  • Excellent communication skills and able to communicate well with all levels of people
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem solving and analytical ability
  • Pro-active in a character and with positive working attitude
  • Excellent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Possess valid Hong Kong Driving License Classes 1 and 2
  • Willing to learn and positive working attitude
  • Proficient in computer applications
